Vaastu
Vastu is a vedic science pertaining to cosmic architecture
based on fundamental principles of physics that every physical object
has, in and around it, electro-magnetic field that influences and gets
influenced by electro-magnetic fields of other objects in the vicinity.
It is a proven fact of medical science that electro-magnetic radiations
and chemicals including what we breath in or eat activates neurocircuits,
influencing gray cells of our brain, our thinking, our state of mind and
our actions.
If energies of an individual are not harmonized with energies of his
surroundings it will result into energy losses. The science and art of
vastu shastra ensures optimum utilization of positive energies
and deflection of negative energies for peace, prosperity and growth.
To have positive influences on any activity the pattern of energy
influencing must be controlled through proper arrangement of things
around us. and this is vaastu shashtra
It is a fact that any area where we live or doing our acts is actually
in a shape of a man, called "Vaastu Purush".
Vaastu Purusha is present in each and
every plot whether it is big or small. It has a fixed and peculiar body.
Its head remains hanging down and its body is spread all over the length
and breadth of the ground.
"You will be known as `VASTUPURUSHA'.
You will tease the people who construct buildings and temples, dig wells
and tanks on the side towards which you see and in the direction towards
which you hold your feet, to your heart's content. You may trouble and
even devour those people who construct the aforesaid buildings and
temples etc. in the direction where you lay your head and back and those
who lay foundation stone without worshipping you or without satisfying
you with `Homa' and the like. Then the Vaastu Purusha was quite
satisfied. Since then the worship of Vaastu-Purusha has been in vogue
and it has become compulsory for those who want to construct any kind of
building. " ------ MATSYA PURAN
